Creating links with internal customers
The training given to teams at La Pirogue and Sugar Beach hotels on 4 and 5 July of this year was aimed at internal customer relations. This training, known as CLIC (Creating Links with your Internal Customer) aims to forge links and improve relations with internal clients. This training programme, followed by the staff at the genuine Mauritian resort, helped those who went through it to understand the importance of good internal customer relations in offering the best service to external customers. The training was centred on a number of points in order to reach the set targets.
The teams at the La Pirogue 4-star hotel went through a very thorough training during these two days. Each of them worked on understanding their role and contribution within their department and then on rediscovering their internal customers in order to provide them with support. The aim was then to demonstrate skills and positive behaviour towards colleagues and identify so-called “Truth Moments”. Everyone in the training was able to make their own contribution to improve systems and procedures and strengthen any weak points in their service. Finally, the La Pirogue personnel prepared action plans for putting all the points covered into… action.
